An established attorney in Indianapolis, Indiana, Ameen Najjar holds diverse career experience in sports law, administrative law, and labor and employment law. Early in his career, he served for 11 years as legal council with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. In 2004, Mr. Najjar transitioned into the field of sports law as the director of enforcement for the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Active in that position for eight years, he handled a number of complex sports investigations and directly managed a rules enforcement team. Ameen Najjar currently serves with the law firm Taft Stettinius & Holliser LLP. As counsel in the labor and employment practice group, he concentrates on representing clients at administrative hearings and negotiating employment contracts.
Ameen Najjar completed his undergraduate studies in political science and criminal justice at Michigan State University. He proceeded to earn his law degree at Indiana University Robert H.
