Erika Millet maintains a considerable private collection of abstract expressionist works from prominent artists such as Mary Abbott, Mercedes Matter, and John Grillo. She earned a Masters in Fine and Decorative Arts from Sotheby’s Institute of New York, as well as a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Art History from Ohio State. After graduating from Sotheby’s Institute, Erika Millet gave birth to her daughter. She later served as an independent professional in the New York fine art world.
Beyond her pursuits as a mother and art collector, Erika Millet dedicates much of her time to philanthropy. She serves as co-chairman to the local chapter of Tiffany Circle, a highly successful fundraising branch of The American Red Cross. Erika Millet also supports Grace Outreach, a community organization that provides women from the South Bronx region with educational and vocational training. Millet’s additional charitable interests include The MacDella Cooper Foundation, which established a school in Liberia.
