Robert Baittie, winner of a TED award for trade show graphic installation design, is an entrepreneur, artist, and design expert. As the CEO of Bob Baittie Design, Inc., Robert Baittie operates a full-service agency that specializes in providing brochures, packaging, brand and theme development, Web site design, advertising, and other artistic services to clients. Mr. Baittie has assisted such clients as ACCO Brands, Fleishman-Hillard, General Binding Corporation, and U.S. Foodservice, and commits to providing “the perfect design piece.”
Prior to opening his agency, Robert Baittie worked with Mindscape, Inc., as a senior designer, where he created gaming and educational software packaging, and as art director after the company's sale to Software Toolworks of California.
As a graduate of the University of Illinois, Robert Baittie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. While in school there, Mr. Baittie was nominated as Outstanding Senior Designer of his class. Following graduation, Robert Baittie began work as a freelance artist, contributing to such endeavors as the production of collateral materials for the American Medical Association in Chicago, Illinois. Most notably, Mr. Baittie worked on a collaborative effort with Anne Tyler Design and Fermilab to construct a proposal to the United States government for the Super Collider project in Batavia, Illinois.
In addition to his TED award, Robert Baittie is also a recipient of the Champion Paper Superior Design Award for his work with the Fitigues direct mail campaign. In his free time, Mr. Baittie is a supporter of the American Cancer Society and KIDSS for Kids' Sake.
