A busy homemaker and stay-at-home mom, Wendy Dransfield finds time for volunteering, serving her community in a variety of capacities. Mrs. Dransfield thrives in a leadership role, serving as Chair of an auction fundraising event for a local elementary school. She also sits on the Board of Directors of the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo. The Museum and Zoo, a nonprofit volunteer organization, provides opportunities for children ages 9 and under to learn about science and nature through a variety of programs and exhibits.
Wendy Dransfield holds an advanced degree in Organizational Psychology and Technology from the University of Wales College of Cardiff, Wales. Her participation in a work abroad postgraduate program led to further research in laboratory predictors of safe driving. She also co-authored a paper, which was subsequently published in the U.S. Government Transportation Research Journal.
Before leaving her career to care for her children full time, Mrs. Dransfield worked as on-site Dedicated Account Director for Guru Worldwide, a staffing company based in San Francisco. Mrs. Dransfield also distinguished herself as a valuable employee at Nelson Staffing Solutions in San Rafael, California, where she was promoted from Recruiting Director to Senior Account Executive after only six months. While at Nelson Staffing, Wendy Dransfield managed and developed several large, well-known corporate clients.
Earlier in her career, Wendy Dransfield worked as a Professional Development and Orientation Project Analyst for Putnam Investments Corporation in Boston, soon earning a promotion to Senior Retirement Education Consultant.
In her free time, Wendy Dransfield enjoys hiking and acting.
