A City Manager credentialed by the International City Management Association, David Frasher spent more than five and one half years serving Oregon City, Oregon, as City Manager. During his tenure, he created a master plan for the city, including obtaining funding of $20 million for the Willamette Falls Legacy Project. David Frasher's other accomplishments during this time included substantially decreasing labor grievances and disputes and reinvigorating the downtown area, thereby improving the city's appearance and economy.
Previously, David Frasher served Grants Pass, Oregon, as its City Manager. His past city government positions include serving as city administrator of Ashland, Wisconsin, and of Oak Grove, Missouri. Prior to entering municipal service, he operated his own law office, where he handled personal injury claims and business litigation cases and earned an American Jurisprudence Award for his work. He also spent over a decade in the police force as an officer and detective in Independence, Missouri.
In his leisure time, David Frasher travels, hunts, and plays acoustic guitar. An avid cook, he enjoys watching chefs such as Mario Batali and Anthony Bourdain.
