Experienced Real Estate Developer Lance Robbins
Throughout his career as a real estate developer and principal of Urban Smart Growth, Lance Robbins has established himself as a dedicated and hardworking business leader. After completing his bachelor of arts in economics and history from the University of California, Los Angeles, he went on to pursue a juris doctor from the School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. Lance Robbins then accepted an offer to join the law firm of Cox, Castle & Nicholson in Century City, California.
In the early 1980s, Mr. Robbins left behind his legal practice and used his professional experience to start a new career as a developer. He purchased his first unreinforced masonry buildings in Los Angeles and rehabilitated them to meet modern seismic ordinances. Over the next two decades, he shifted his focus to new real estate development concepts such as urban rehabilitation projects in Southern California and artist lofts in Columbus, Ohio. Today, Mr. Robbins holds responsibilities as the chief operating officer of Urban Smart Growth, a national development company based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
