Stacy Stine Cary has started several successful ventures during her career in addition to working alongside her family at Patland Oil Company for over 25 years. In addition to processing leases and royalties, Stacy Stine Cary used her training and studies in geology to participate in the company’s drilling operations.
At an early age, Stacy Cary learned how to monitor the stock market from her grandfather. She later turned this interest into a successful second side career as a investor and trader. She also spent 13 years as the owner of GeOasis, an importer and distributor of mineral and wood products. Her search for interesting products took her around the world to a Namibian alluvial mine and South African diamond operations as well as gemstone sites in Ipanema, Minas Gerais, and Rio de Janeiro.
Ms. Cary’s charitable interests include Texas Discovery Gardens, the Boy Scouts of America, the Girl Scouts of the USA, and Operation Kindness, an animal welfare organization. In her spare time, she enjoys hobbies such as gardening, yoga, and camping. She also volunteers with Sunday school at Highland Park United Methodist Church.
